Administrative Coordinator Intern – 1 Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Administrative Coordinator Intern to support the academy’s daily operations and program delivery. This internship offers hands-on experience in administration, event coordination, and online education support. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and passionate about education and STEM.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations and ensure the smooth delivery of online classes, workshops, and programs.
- Manage communication with parents, students, tutors, and partners via email, phone, and messaging platforms.
- Schedule and organize online sessions, webinars, and events, including creating links, reminders, and follow-up notes.
- Support tutor onboarding and student enrollment by preparing welcome packages, agreements, and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain digital filing systems, databases, and learning platforms for program resources and student information.
- Track registrations, tuition payments, and program expenses, assisting with basic bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Prepare reports, certificates, presentations, and promotional materials for academy programs and events.
- Coordinate logistics for online competitions, career talks, and special events.
- Assist with outreach, newsletters, and social media updates to promote academy programs.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in administration, office coordination, or event/program support (education or nonprofit sector an asset)
- Degree in administration, education, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; experience with online learning platforms is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced online environment.
- Passion for education, STEM, and youth empowerment.

Join us for two weeks online from 11 – 22 August, 2025 (exl. weekends) | 11:00am – 2:00pm
All roles on the Engineering Summer Camp 2025 team are paid volunteer positions.
While these are not full-time salaried jobs, selected team members will receive a stipend or honorarium in appreciation of their time, effort, and impact throughout the camp.
Volunteers will contribute to the planning and delivery of the virtual camp experience, gain valuable hands-on experience, receive mentorship from professionals, and be recognized with a certificate of participation.
