Bees (4-6 years)

Becoming a Bee

We’re really excited to share the Bees programme with you!

The Bees Guild is specially designed to introduce our youngest participants to the exciting world of engineering in a playful and interactive manner. Tailored for children between the ages of 4 and 6, this category is crafted to nurture their natural curiosity, creativity, and early problem-solving skills.

The emphasis for this age group is on exploration through play. Activities are designed to be hands-on, engaging, and aligned with the developmental milestones of preschool and early elementary years.

Participants in the “Bees” category are introduced to basic engineering concepts in a fun and age-appropriate manner. These may include exploring shapes, understanding basic structures, and experimenting with simple building materials.

We designed a curriculum consisting of:

Awards

Little Engineers

Membership Award

A membership award is given to a Bee when he/she has signed up to be a Bee by submitting an application form, parents consent form and a social media approval form,

Chief Engineer's Guild Award

This is the highest award a Bee can earn. To complete it, you need to earn Six Activity Badges of your choice, as well as all three of the Challenge Awards.

Challenge Awards

Challenge Awards are all about stepping outside your comfort zone. Try out something you wouldn’t normally be interested in. Take the lead on something that scares you. Along the way, you’ll unlock hidden talents and stand tall.

Activity Badges

Become an expert in something you love, or try something shiny and new. There’s a badge to suit each and every Bee.
